"We decided to make a short fishing trip before the Super Bowl in the Puget Sound for blackmouth. We're newcomers to blackmouth fishing and trying to iron out our strategy. Despite our lack of experience we hooked and landed a hatchery 13lb blackmouth within 20 minutes on an Olympic Tackle sand lance confetti. The second pole wasn't rigged with an Olympic tackle product and wasn't hit for the rest of the trip. Thank you Olympic Tackle for giving a rookie some success to the Blackmouth game."

“In a market where salmon fishing gear has long been established and proven, Olympic Tackle has jumped in and turned the industry on its head. From day one, these lures have proven very effective. So much so that I initially thought it was a fluke. But after continual and consistent success, I realized there is something about this gear that attracts even the most reluctant fish. Their color patterns are amazing and the inclusion of UV and glow in just the right instances make these lures visible in any water condition. My personal favorite, the Kermit Micro Sandlance, has caught more fish than any other particular lure in my inventory. And this smaller size packs a massive punch. I’ve caught many big fish on this lure including a 30 lb king salmon and a 50 lb halibut. I pull this gear at least 80 percent of the time knowing it will consistently produce. Try this gear. Do a side by side comparison like I did. You too will be convinced, and catch more fish.”

"I run a saltwater fishing guide service out of Blaine and Bellingham Washington. I have used pretty much everything there is to use to catch salmon from bait, plugs, hoochies and spoons. Spoons have been my primary lure of choice until this past year when I started testing out these fly's from Olympic Tackle. Started with the larger squid pattern in August and picked up some nice Kings. Discovered the bait was smaller than usual and we stepped down to a smaller bait pattern (mini squid, micro sand lance, herring) and really started picking up more and more salmon. The micro sand lance has become one of my favorite lures going into September/October months. They were deadly on the Coho run and looked like they would be deadly for the winter black mouth season. I started using the micro sand lance for the winter black mouth season this year and they have been producing a good number of fish on every trip so far this year. I have found that my previous lures of choice that I would normally use during this time of year seem to be staying dry and cozy in their containers while the sand lances are not getting time to dry out between trips. I highly recommend checking these lures out. There is a nice selection of sizes, colors and patterns to target what you’re fishing for and to match up with the bait size in your area. I look forward to testing some different colors and can’t wait to see what comes out next. "

“I had never heard of Olympic Tackle before, so my thought at the time, was perhaps I found myself a new edge. I used the new Micro Sand lance behind a green Rotator once again; I landed the first fish of the day, nothing to impressive, but a fish none the less. Little did I know, that was just the beginning. About three hours after landing that first fish I landed a second. My second fish of the day was about a 9 pound beautiful bright Coho. After landing that second Coho of the day I was just beaming from ear to ear. That second fish wasn’t the end of the day however, I proceeded to catch 3 more Coho (that I had to, unfortunately, release). After catching those last two fish, I definitely knew I had discovered something that would have a home in my tackle box for years to come.” – Tom Grigsby
"I stopped by to say Hi at the derby and let you know that we caught both of our fish over the weekend on an Olympic Tackle micro sandlance. Great product. Love the durability of the materials. I wanted to send along a picture of one of our fish with your product in the photo."
